Spanish Translation Of Movie Titles

In Spanish, from Spain and Latin America, the audio of the films is always dubbed but, in addition to this, the title of the films is almost always translated.

There are titles that have a good translation but there are other titles that directly have absolutely no relation to the original title.

Here are five examples of bad Spanish translation of movie titles:

DIE HARD (20th Century Fox - 1988)
Spain: Crystal Jungle
Latin America: Hard To Kill

BAD BOYS (Columbia Pictures - 1995)
Spain: Two Rebel Cops
Latin America: Two Rebel Cops

THE PARENT TRAP (Walt Disney Pictures - 1998)
Spain: You To London And Me To California
Latin America: Twins Game

THE PACIFIER (Walt Disney Pictures - 2005)
Spain: A Super Hard Kangaroo [in Spain, kangaroo = babysitter]
Latin America: Bulletproof Babysitter

ICE PRINCESS (Walt Disney Pictures - 2005)
Spain: Dreaming, Dreaming ... I Triumphed Skating
Latin America: Dreams On Ice
